Ways to Give

We Welcome Individual,
Corporate, and Event Sponsors

The generous donations of our supporters allow us to sustain this Healing Touch program. We are immensely grateful for the support we have received from the community, family, friends, and foundations. With continued support, we can help even more of those impacted by a cancer diagnosis get back to living more fully.

Healing Partners of the Central Coast (HPCC) can use your help to continue to make this one-of-a-kind service available to our community, at no charge. If you believe in our mission and are interested in partnering with HPCC to support this life-changing program, please contact our Executive Director, Deb Saxton via email: deb.saxtonhpcc@gmail.com or call 800 205 8101

I hope you find a way to let more cancer patients and caregivers learn about the amazing work you are doing to bring comfort during such a difficult time in one’s life.
You are truly angels!

Donation Options

Individual Donations
— Online or by Check

  • Click on any “Donate” button and you will be linked directly through HPCC’s online donation form. Receipts for online donations are sent automatically.

  • Send a check made payable to Healing Partners of the Central Coast.
Please mail it to P.O. Box 2055, Carmel Valley, CA 93924. A receipt for your donation will be mailed back to you.

  • Should you be interested, individual donations can be signified as a memorial or honorarium. The honored individual will be listed on our website on the “Tributes” page.

Sponsorships

  • Local businesses and corporations have the opportunity to support our work through Corporate Sponsorships. There are four tiers of giving options available to businesses: Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum.

  • Each sponsor receives recognition on our website and in our community communications programs based on their tier of choice.

Pledges — Monthly or Sustaining

  • Dedicated supporters have the option to set up regular donations. These can be monthly pledges or sustaining pledges.

  • Donors can set up automatic payment of monthly donations through our online donation form. Follow the online form instructions to set up a monthly donation.

  • Sustaining pledges are an amount donated every year over a multi-year commitment (e.g. $1,000 each year for three years).

In-Kind Gifts

  • HPCC accepts in-kind donations of goods, services, time, and expertise. In-kind donors will receive a receipt noting the value of the donation.

Donor-Advised Funds (DAF)

  • Any donor, regardless of age,  can set up a DAF to channel future contributions to qualified 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations. The tax advantage comes to the donor when the fund is established; not when future donations to non-profits are made.

  • To arrange for donations in this way, the donor provides the DAF with the name and EIN of the preferred charity. The DAF sponsor (eg. Fidelity/Schwab/CFMP) then vets the charity and sends the actual donation,  confirming the transaction with the donor.

Retirement Distributions (QCD)

  • Donors 72 or older can make a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) from their IRA directly to HPCC. It is a great way for donors to get a tax advantage on Required Minimum Distributions (RMD). Donors can simply instruct their IRA administrator to make the distribution directly to HPCC.

  • There are many benefits to those who donate using a QCD:
       - Allows the donor to make a pre-tax gift to the donor’s favorite charity
       - Fulfills the donor’s minimum required distribution (RMD) from an IRA
       - Reduces the donor’s gross taxable income

  • Talk with your financial adviser or accountant to help you set up a QCD.

Other Opportunities to Give

  • Additional charitable contributions are bequests and beneficiary designations from life insurance and retirement funds.

Volunteer

An equally valuable contribution (though not tax deductible) is to become a volunteer. You can donate your time as an Advisor, Board Member, or Event Helper. You could even learn Healing Touch and become a Provider. HPCC is always looking for volunteers with graphic design, computer entry, or administrative skills.

If interested in providing non-monetary support please contact us via the Contact Form.
