Cancer is the #1 Cause of Death in Monterey County!

At Healing Partners of the Central Coast we understand the challenges of a cancer diagnosis and how it affects all aspects of daily living. That’s why we offer cancer patients 8 FREE life-changing Healing Touch sessions, which have been shown to offset the side effects of chemotherapy, radiation, and surgery.

Beginning November 13th and running through December 31st, you will have a special opportunity to help HPCC continue our life-changing efforts! The Monterey County Foundation has once again included HPCC as one of the selected group of area non-profit organizations eligible to participate in the 2025 MCGives! Fundraising Campaign. As part of the Campaign HPCC is eligible to receive matching funds based upon the funds we raise through this 6-week, fundraising program.

HPCC continues to successfully expand our capacity to offer free Healing Touch therapy that increases comfort, healing, and quality of life for cancer patients across Monterey County. Since 2010, HPCC has served local cancer patients with over 9000 free Healing Touch sessions and our patients report the highest levels of satisfaction.

Funds raised in prior MCGives! campaigns have enabled HPCC to recruit and train new Healing Touch Providers bringing our total number of Providers to 40. In addition HPCC was able to open new treatment sites and expand Healing Touch into the Cancer and Infusion Units at Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula.

With your help, HPCC’s highly qualified HT Providers can continue to provide this life-changing care and expand service to even more patients, in more treatment locations, and more healthcare facilities across our community.

• Hundreds of free Healing Touch sessions each year directly empowering and improving the lives of cancer patients in our community.

• Recruitment, Onboarding, and Mentorship for new HT Providers ensuring they are prepared to serve patients with skill and compassion in an effort to meet the expanding health needs of the Central Coast.

• Monthly HT Provider meetings, offering support, shared leaning, and continuing education to facilitate Provider retention and resilience.
