Meeting and Activities Calendar

Attendance at monthly meetings is mandatory to maintain your status as a Provider in the Healing Partners Program. A minimum meeting attendance has been established for those legitimately challenged by this commitment. Please read the compliance guidelines for options for those who find it difficult time to juggle life with volunteer responsibilities.

JANUARY, 2025

  Kicking off the New Year - Making a Bigger Impact
  This meeting will focus on reviewing last year’s accomplishments, updates & discussion of what’s to come in New Year and ways to get involved.

FEBRUARY, 2025

• Provider Meeting - Friday, February 14th @ 5:00 -   Zoom
  The Ethics of Touch with Kelly Baraki
  Kelly Baraki will present The Ethics of Touch by Ben E. Benjamin, Ph.D., and Cherie Sohnen-Moe for her Community Project for Certification. The book serves as a practical guide for touch therapy practitioners, addressing complex ethical dilemmas and offering models, examples, and applications for building a safe and professional practice. Kelly, a Healing Touch Practitioner Student with over 15 years of experience in education and professional development coaching, currently works with Monterey Peninsula College, the American Museum of History, and the Institute for Sustained Attention.

MARCH, 2025

  Group Healing Session
  Group Healing Session self-care opportunity. Attendees will split into groups to do Healing touch on each other with one person on the table at a time. The others in the group will act as Providers for the one on the table.

APRIL, 2025

• Provider Meeting - Tuesday, April 8th @ 5:00 - Zoom
  Living Large - Glodean Champion
  Local author, lecturer, and life coach Glodean Champion will share her inspiring journey of embracing life while living with Stage 4 lung cancer. She recently published a two-in-one book: It’s All About You: A Guidebook for Anybody on a Cancer Journey in a Starring Role and, on the flip side, It Ain’t About You: A Guidebook for Anybody on a Cancer Journey in a Supporting Role.

MAY, 2025

• Montage Health’s Nurses Day’s: 7th 3-7pm, 8th 7-11am, 3-7pm, 9th 7-11am
  HPCC will provide Nurses & Doctors mini sessions.

• Provider Meeting - Tuesday, May 13th @ 5:00 - Zoom
  The Key to Mapping What’s Really Going on with Your Client
  A deep dive into what comes up in a session what should be documented and how to do it clearly.

JUNE, 2025

• Provider Meeting - Friday,  JUNE 13th @ 3:00 - TBD
  Tips Tricks & Experiences
  Come & share stories about your Healing Touch experiences. Things that came up that baffled you or that scared you, something you messed up on and are still carrying with you and more.
