Family, health, and quality are at the heart of everything Annelise does
ANNELISE GEROME
Treasurer— Board Member, January 2025 - present
Annelise Gerome is a passionate advocate for health, nutrition, and family. A graduate of the University of Maine in Orono, she earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a pre-med emphasis. Her pursuit of knowledge continued with culinary medicine, where she attended a specialized program alongside her late father, Dr. Brabeck, earning a credential in the field. This experience deepened her commitment to promoting well-being through both science and culinary arts.
A devoted wife and mother of five, Annelise balances family life with a thriving career. Four of her children are attending universities in California and Colorado, a testament to her nurturing and supportive nature.
Locally, she owns The Quail and Olive in Carmel Valley Village, a business that reflects her deep commitment to health and nutrition. The shop specializes in high-quality extra virgin olive oils, a product Annelise holds in high regard for its health benefits and superior taste.
Her personal journey with health has been deeply influenced by the loss of her father, who passed away from cancer and a congenital heart defect. This experience drives her to prioritize wellness in her personal life and professional endeavors, particularly through offering the finest olive oils to her community.
Family, health, and quality are at the heart of everything Annelise does, and she continues to make an impact on those around her through her business and lifestyle.
